In this session we will explore the newly published Environmental Literacy Compendium for the California History-Social Science Framework. This resource provides specific, standards-aligned instructional suggestions at each grade level for integrating California's Environmental Principles and Concepts into lessons teachers are already implementing. Grade-band collaborations will accompany an interactive model lesson.

Join World and US History teacher Dr. Scott M. Petri for an interactive workshop that helps teachers integrate Social Emotional Learning strategies into their content instruction. Participants will embed SEL competencies into formative assessments, learn to use conversation calendars, reflective grading, exam wrappers, and empathy maps.
