Sikhism is the world’s fifth largest religion and appears in California’s History and Social Science standards in Grades 4, 7 and 8.  This session will introduce educators to the first ever C3 inquiries about Sikhism created collaboratively with C3 Teachers and the Sikh Coalition.  Attendees will be equipped with teaching tools and resources to use in their own classrooms.

Education Director, The Sikh Coaltion
Pritpal Kaur serves as the Education Director of the Sikh Coalition - the nation's largest Sikh civil rights organization.  She holds a PhD in Sikh Studies and is passionate about creating inclusive classrooms.
