This workshop offers a four pronged theatre- based approach to teaching U.S. history using primary sources, theatre, global religious texts, and excerpts from Shakespeare. Students will explore and perform as they identify the role of major world religions in the development of the United States, the emergent dehumanization of various populations, and the impact of Shakespeare and theatre on America.
