This workshop is intended to assist participants who might not have an ethnic studies background with course development. Central to this process is identifying a shared understanding of what ethnic studies is. Through presentations and hands-on activities, the UCLA History-Geography Project will present its process. A current ethnic studies educator will also give a concrete example of a current course.
