In 2020,Latinos will be the largest ethnic group in the state and a majority by 2050. Yet, the story of Latinos, their contribution to the American narrative is often minimized or altogether absent. This session will introduce teachers to a new curriculum of 20 short biographies of Latino leaders in politics, science, the arts, and more for the 6-12 classroom.
