Big History Project (bhp.oerproject.com) is full of scaffolds and supports for middle and high school students who may need extra support. Find how teachers are engaging their students with 13.8 billion years of historical thinking and inquiry by hearing from real, live BHP teachers in California:  Hajra and Erik!  With a clear focus on vocabulary, reading and writing, this session will explore one approach to addressing literacy in the middle school classroom (even if you don't teach BHP).
