The session would invite presenters to explore how the themes of punk rock (Do-it-Yourself attitude, Voice,
Inquiry, and Transgression) can be applied in the history classroom through unit design rooted in civic action,
as well as the explicit teaching of historical thinking skills and disciplinary practices.
