Banned in America: Project-based learning techniques, Attendees will learn how a 1 day thought experiment, (6 weeks of followup lesson plans) resulted in students engaging in civic actions to reinstate their banned books, experience 1st Amendment conflicts, dynamic political interests, riveting debates, spontaneous student political actions, stimulating academic awareness. Aligning with Framework, CC Standards, and conference theme of civic life.
