At a time when growing numbers of Americans are becoming increasingly disillusioned with politics, how can we talk about the 2020 presidential campaign to our students and their families in a way that encourages them to become politically aware and civically involved?
Conan Nolan, Chief Political Reporter for NBC4, Dan Schnur, professor at UC-Berkeley and USC and Les Francis, Communications and Public Affairs Consultant, along with Dr. Diana Hess, the leading expert on the importance of discussing controversial issues in the classroom will help us address the urgency for our students to be informed and engaged during this critical tipping point in our democracy.
A book signing will be available prior to the presentation in the Exhibit Hall at the booth of Social Studies School Service from 8:00-8:30 am. Booth #315-316
