Jeremy Cavallaro is the Co-Founder of Community Roots Academy, a public charter school and has served as Executive Director of Education since its opening in 2011. Previously he led schools in New York City and Southern California. In addition to his work in schools, Mr. Cavallaro has developed educational programs, written grants and coordinated special events as a museum educator. In 2008, Mr. Cavallaro completed Harvard University’s Principal’s Institute and he earned his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership at Bank Street College. He has presented at state and national conferences on project-based learning, mathematics, charter schools and violence prevention.
