Benjamin Wong
Green Dot Public Schools
Benjamin Wong serves as a History/Social Science Curriculum Specialist with Green Dot Public Schools, a charter management organization in Los Angeles. He provides instructional coaching, professional development, and curricular support to teachers at Green Dot’s twenty-one schools. Prior to joining Green Dot, he worked as a testing coordinator, instructional lead, and History/Social Science teacher at schools in Southern California and New York. Benjamin began his education career in 2001 as middle school history teacher in Manhattan’s Chinatown. Benjamin earned his MA in Teaching of Social Studies from Teachers College, Columbia University and his BA in History from UC Berkeley.
